LAB — CONSTRAINT FIELD

A session is a set of problems.
The constraints are the lesson.

This is how UMBRA thinks. Pick a constraint and watch the field change — the same way a session changes when the room, the clock, or the contact rules do. In the lab these are real. Here, they are a map of the idea.

Constraint
Contracted boundary

What happens when the room gets smaller?

Space is a constraint you can feel. Shrink the boundary and every movement decision changes — footwork shortens, pressure rises, options collapse. Expand it and the game becomes about distance and timing instead.

The boundary of the field contracts or expands. Movement must fit the space that exists, not the space you wish for.
